We are thrilled to open our doors to our newest students and their parents/guardians. This orientation is your first step into the exciting journey at Opstad Elementary School (OES).

August 26-27, 2026—Prepare to sign up for a 30-minute one-on-one meeting with your child and their teacher.

What Does Orientation Look Like?

Welcome & Introductions in the MPR:

We’ll begin together in the Multi‑Purpose Room (MPR), where families will meet our Kindergarten teachers and school administrators.

Students Head to Classrooms:

After introductions, students will walk with the Kindergarten teachers to their classrooms for a special classroom experience designed just for them.

Parent Session in the MPR:

While students are in the classrooms, parents/guardians will remain in the MPR with administration for important information, next steps, and time to ask questions.
