If you purchased an individual photo package for your student and were not satisfied with it, you are eligible for a retake photo at no additional charge.

(Retake photos are for individual student photos, not the class group photos)

Retake day at Opstad is Wednesday, November 19.

To request a retake, follow these instructions:

1. Pull your Class Group Photo out of your photo package.
   (Class Group Photos are not retaken)
2. Place all of your original individual student photos inside the original packaging.
3. Write "RETAKE" across the top of your packaging envelope.
4. Write a brief explanation of what you would like changed:
   (example: open eyes wider, bigger smile)
5. Return your photo package to your child's teacher the day before retake day.
6. Email your teacher that you are requesting a retake, and your child will be returning their package.
7. A photographer will go to every classroom, collecting returned packages and pulling students from class for a new photo to be taken. 

*If your student will be having their first photo of the year taken on Retake Day because they are new to Opstad or were absent on the original photo days in October, you can purchase a photo to be taken on Retake Day. Photos at the link below*

It's never too early to start planning for the district art show.  Learn how your student can have their artwork featured in our annual K-12 District Art Show. 

This year’s Family Glow Dance isn’t just about bright lights and big moves-it’s about big hearts, too!

The Opstad PTA is teaming up with FeedKiddos.com to collect:

• Mac & Cheese
• Easy-Open Soups
• Boxes of Cereal
• Tuna

Please bring your donations to the dance or drop them in the front office before the dance.

The whole family is invited to light up the night at our annual Family Glow Dance on Friday, November 14, from 6:30-8:00 PM.

Wear your brightest colors or white to shine under the blacklights and get ready to dance the night away with friends and classmates!

Music • Photo Booth • Dance Contests • Glow Gear for Sale • Concessions

This event is free to attend, with candy, drinks, and glowing accessories available for purchase!

Volunteers Needed:

We need helping hands for set-up, concessions, and clean-up to keep the night running smoothly. Sign up here

Note: This is not a drop-off event. At least one parent or guardian must remain at the school with their child during the dance.
